Eyes speak louder than words

The more I look into their eyes

The more I understand their untold stories

At some point, I was kind of hoping that I could redeem their wounds

And then I’d say “you matter”

At first, I have no idea what it was

Until the moment I listened to the voice of their hearts

There I heard things left unsaid

At some point, I was kind of hoping that I could help them with paragraphs

But then I realize, the words I’m looking for are “you’re beyond impressive”

It’s a long journey

I wondered, where would they go with this?

I tried to find maps wishing I could understand every detail

The longer I read these so-called a labyrinth of emotions

I figure out that the end of the line is “your feelings are valid”

In sum, circumstances affect people

To quote Anne Frank “In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart”
